Highlights from our 2010 Annual Meeting

Representatives from several Winston-Salem neighborhoods held a lively panel discussion with six city council members at the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Winston-Salem Neighborhood Alliance. It was an opportunity for the three newly-elected city council members, Denise Adams, James Taylor, and Derwin Montgomery, to listen to issues and concerns from neighborhoods all over the city along with their own wards. The Winston-Salem Journal covered the event: "Group swaps safety ideas".

WSNA members also took the opportunity to honor Carol Stritmatter for her decade of dedicated service to the Winston-Salem Neighborhood Alliance. WSNA arranged to plant a tree in Carol's honor at Shaffner Park.
